What's the Trial Checklist?

After successfully signing up for a trial account, you'll see a 'Getting Started' onboarding checklist at the bottom left of your dashboard. When you click on it, it will give you the below checklist. Ideally, these should be able to walk you through how to use Surfer to its fullest. 🚀

You can earn the credits by writing and optimizing your first article. Aim for a green score in the meter, and you'll be all set. Neat, right?

Please remember that these rewards are only available after your paid plan starts. They are not accessible during the trial period.

Add-ons

While Audit and SERP Analyzer are unavailable on the trial, you can purchase 1 on-demand Surfer AI credit. This is the only on-demand purchase you can make during the trial phase.

However, after moving to your scheduled plan subscription, you won't have any of such restrictions!

How long is my trial period, and when does it end?

Your trial period lasts exactly seven days. While there's no option to extend its duration, you can begin your paid subscription early at any time during the trial.

Can I purchase a paid plan during the trial if I run out of credits?

Yes, you can easily start your subscription during the trial via our pricing page.

Can I purchase AI credits during the trial period?

During the trial period, you may purchase only 1 Surfer AI credit. It's important to note that any AI credits purchased during and after the trial period are not eligible for a refund.

Can I use the trial version if I have another paid subscription?

No, the trial can only be enabled for customers who have never had a paid subscription before or have never had a trial pack before. Current subscribers are not eligible for the trial.​

Can I access my Trial Checklist Rewards during the trial period?

No, the rewards are available only after your trial converts into a paid plan. You won't get access to your rewards if you cancel your trial before the subscription starts.

What happens with my unused credits after I purchase a subscription?

Your unused trial credits will not be transferred to your new plan. However, your completion checklist reward credits will!

Can I get a trial extension?

Sadly, the trial period is strictly limited to 7 days, and we cannot provide extensions. Kindly be mindful of the limited time.

How do I cancel my trial?

To cancel your trial, go to Your Plan, click on Cancel request, and confirm to proceed.

Can I have a trial of my chosen plan?

Currently, the trial coverage only includes our core tools. Once your trial window is over, you can easily move to your chosen plan.

Can I get a refund for the trial?

Since the 7-day free trial was released to replace the 7-day Money-back Guarantee, we cannot refund the purchase once it rolls over after the trial period.
