What is the Auto-Optimize?

Sometimes, your articles are so close to dominating the rankings and they just need that extra push to rank higher. Or when the creative well runs dry while drafting new content, the pressure to ensure it's SEO-optimized can feel overwhelming.

But don't fret! We have a solution for both of those cases!

Surfer's Auto-Optimize is here to help! πŸš€

With just a simple click, Auto-Optimize boosts your article's Content Editor score by cleverly adding relevant NLP terms and enriching your content while preserving its original meaning.

How does the Auto-Optimize work?

Auto-Optimize is available in any Content Editor at any time.

You can run it at any stage of article creation, but to get the best result, we suggest getting as close to the finish line as possible in terms of content length.

When the button is clicked, our AI starts to analyze your article, looking for the best possible way to enrich it with SEO NLP terms that would improve the article's content score without changing its original meaning and readability.

The analysis and suggestion generation happens in real-time, so you can start reviewing the first suggestions while the others are being generated to save time.

When the tool has finished analyzing a section, the list of suggestions will appear on the side panel. Once you click on a suggestion, it will bring you to a section or a heading rewritten by the tool.

Within each section or heading affected by the tool, you'll see a "Restore the original/Back to the optimized version" button. Clicking on this button will help you quickly check what has actually been changed in your original content.

Highlighted new terms & NLP entities serve the same purpose:

Once you have reviewed the suggestions, click the Save & Close button to apply them!

FAQ

What languages are supported?

Auto-Optimize works with any language! It will match the language of your Content Editor article and provide an optimized version in that language.

When Auto-Optimize credit is deducted from my account?

Auto-Optimize credit is deducted from your account only if it has generated at least one optimization suggestion. If it did, but you have closed the tool or a browser tab, the credit will still be deducted. In case of an error indicating that we cannot optimize the text due to formatting, no credit will be deducted.

Can I run Auto-Optimize on the same Content Editor multiple times?

Yes, you can. However, for the best results, we suggest running it only once when you've completed editing an article yourself, especially if it's a new article.

I received an error stating that my content cannot be optimized due to formatting. What should I do?

Our Auto-Optimize feature is currently in BETA, and it may encounter difficulties optimizing unformatted text. In such cases, no credit is deducted from your account. To ensure successful optimization, please format your text before running the Auto-Optimize. If you encounter any further issues, please don't hesitate to contact our Support Team for assistance.
