1. What is Keyword Surfer?
Keyword Surfer is a free extension that allows you to analyze search results and get keyword suggestions in Google. It is available for anyone, and it does not require a Surfer account!
2. How to use it?
First, download the extension from the link above ⬆️ Make sure not to confuse it with the other extension we have, Google Docs Extension.
Once the extension has been installed in your Chrome, you will now see regular Google results, enhanced with valuable data about your keyword and similar keywords.
Simply start typing a search term in Google. Surfer will show monthly search volumes in a location of your choice.
On the search page, we will also provide you with a list of search terms that have overlapping organic results - keyword ideas. It's a similarity score that reflects the percentage of the same pages that rank for both keywords. Pretty handy if you want to find more keywords to rank with the same content piece.
If you think that some of the terms might be useful, you can add them to the clipboard by marking the box next to your terms. Thanks to that, you can create comprehensive research without leaving Google search.
To change the location, click on the flag on the side box.
You can check what kind of phrases you have already saved under the clipboard icon.

3. Is it compatible with other browsers?
We recommend using Chrome, but other Chromium-based browsers like Brave or Arc should also work. In case of any questions, don't hesitate to reach out to the Support Team!
