Surfer add-ons are additional tools that you pay for separately, which are not included in our standard legacy plans. Legacy plans were offered for purchase until October 14, 2024.
Currently, most of our plan tiers already include these add-ons, but if you don’t have them in your plan, read more to how to you can purchase them. 😉
The add-ons we have available for purchase are:
Audit (for Essential Plan holders)
SERP Analyzer (for all current plans)
on-demand Surfer AI credits (except for Scale AI Plan, which already includes AI credits in the package)
How can I buy Surfer add-ons?
You can purchase add-ons from the dashboard of the tool you would like to add through "Buy add-ons".
Is there a plan that includes all of the add-ons?
Yes, check out our latest Pricing Page if you are interested to upgrade. If you need more credits than what is already included in the current packages, we will be happy to set up a custom plan for you. Simply click Contact Sales under Custom on our Pricing Page, and our Sales team will reach out to you!
For legacy plan users: While Page Audit is considered an add-on for Essential, it is included in the base subscription of Scale and Scale AI, meaning that it does not have to be purchased separately!
How will I be charged for the add-ons?
Subscriptions and add-ons are paid for separately. You will receive a separate invoice for your add-on purchase every month on the date you purchased the add-on, except for AI credits purchases, which follow a pay-as-you-go system. Please note that the billing date for add-ons and subscriptions may vary depending on when you first purchased each. When you purchase add-ons separately, we will reset the billing date for the add-ons based on the most recent add-on purchase.
What happens to my add-ons when I cancel my subscription?
When you cancel your subscription, your Audit and SERP Analyzer add-ons will remain active until they are also set to cancel at the end of their billing period. If you have unused on-demand AI credits, you will not be able to use them with a cancelled plan, but when it gets reactivated, they will be available for use once again. Please keep in mind that you need to have an active subscription to use any of the three add-ons.
I have a legacy plan other than Essential (legacy), Scale (legacy), and Scale AI (legacy). Can I purchase the add-ons?
If you have a plan that is not listed here, it means that you purchased a subscription before May 17, 2023. Add-ons are not available to be purchased for you. If you're on Advanced Plan (legacy), you can still purchase any add-on you need.
You can buy on-demand AI credits, as needed, whichever plan you have.
Can I purchase an add-on multiple times?
At the moment, you can only purchase Audit and SERP Analyzer add-ons for your subscription plan once. You will not be able to purchase the same add-on multiple times in the same billing period.
But if you need to buy more on-demand AI credits, you may do so. You will be billed and receive an invoice for each AI credit purchase.
Can I cancel my add-ons?
Yes! You can schedule your add-ons to be removed from your billing page. For more information about how to remove or manage your add-ons, you can refer to our "How to manage downgrades and add-ons" article.
